ROBA® Room Bed Leg Extensions
These leg extensions were designed to raise the ROBA® Room Bed bedside crib so that the mattress can be aligned with a higher adult bed.
The set consists of four extensions arranged as two mirrored pairs. Each extension fits into one of the original hollow furniture legs and continues the shape of the leg as closely as possible.

Printing
Print the parts standing upright, as shown in the photos. Supports should normally not be required.
For a strong result, I recommend:
At least 3 walls/perimeters
10–20% infill or more (Gyroid)
A durable material such as PETG
Printing all four parts with identical settings
PLA may also work, but PETG is generally preferable because it is less brittle and more resistant to long-term mechanical stress.
Installation
Insert the extensions into the four original furniture legs and make sure that every part is fully seated. Check that the bed stands level and that none of the extensions can move, tilt, or slip out.
Depending on your printer calibration and the tolerances of your bed, minor scaling or sanding may be necessary.

A bedside crib is safety-critical furniture. Use these parts entirely at your own risk. Before use, carefully check:
that all four extensions fit tightly,
that the bed is stable and level,
that the connection to the adult bed still works correctly,
that no dangerous gap is created between the mattresses,
and that the maximum permitted mattress height and all manufacturer instructions are still respected.
Regularly inspect the printed parts for cracks, deformation, or loosening. Do not use them if there is any doubt about their stability.
