H0 scale standalone Prosecutor's Office for model train
The model is based on the facade of the Veszprém District Prosecutor's Office (Vár utca 8., Veszprém, Hungary). It is an extended standalone version of an earlier model based on the same facade.
The building's current appearance is a combination of the 18th-century Baroque/Copf foundations and the historicizing extensions of the late 19th century. The most beautiful remaining detail of the early Baroque–Copf period is the stone-framed entrance gate, which was completed in 1778.
Options:
You may print the building with 2 facades on the long side, or one facade and one flat back wall. For these two options the stucco on the sides are different. For the flat back wall you have stuccos flash with the wall „AG H0 028 Stucco side for firewall right.stl” . This is for the right side wall and you have to mirror it to get the left side stuccos.
Once you print two identical long facades you should use the „AG H0 028 Stucco 2 facades side ...” stl files for the side wall stuccos with 45 degree overhang on both sides.
Printing Tips:
No Supports: This print does not require any supports or multi-color printing.
Finishing: For a higher-quality result, I used the ironing setting on each part. For the windows set the Quality -> Wall generator to Arachne and reduce the speed for the ironing.
Color Customization: The model can be printed in different colors (walls, stucco, window frames, door and the roof). No AMS required.
Assembly Instructions: For the best results, I recommend assembling the pieces in the following order:
Attach the windows and door to the walls.
Glue the stucco onto the walls.
Glue the back wall and side walls together.
Attach the main facade (front wall).
Finally, glue the roof into place with the help of the roof inserts.
