After adding the CANVAS unit to my Centauri Carbon, the accordion style TPU anti-vibration pads squished unevenly from the added right side weight. The CANVAS unit itself plus up to four 1KG spools of filament made the machine tilt sideways.
The new foot pads with Sorbothane discs (2.25" x 1/2") keep the CC level while keeping machine vibrations from the table it sits on.
My CANVAS is installed using a lowering mount. The top of the CANVAS is approximately level with the top of the CC frame. This required also lowering the spool holder positions to avoid conflicting with the CANVAS unit. Optional foot extensions lift the CC further off the table to provide a bit more clearance under the lower spools.
Each foot consists of 4 parts:
Purchased Sorbothane pad - 30 Duro, 2.25" x .5" (57.2mm x 12.7mm)
Base cup to hold the Sorbothane disc
Weight distributing plate - Choose Top Plate, Extended Foot.step or Top Plate, Stock Foot.step
(Optional) Foot extension
