No hardware needed! (Well, except for the mounting bolt) The spring and latching mechanism is all done with plastic. This mount is fairly heavy duty - even with PLA. Please note that ABS is more UV resistant - so use that if you plan on using this outdoors frequently.
To release the inserted cold shoe accessory, press down on the moving latch and pull out the item.
Assemble by printing the 2 components, and threading a 26mm piece of filament. I suggest PETG or ABS for the filament sample. You can use a firm TPU but it makes the latch weaker. This latch mechanism works by bending the filament segment.
I suggest printing in the following orientation for best results.
Hex-headed bolt specification:
1/4 inch thread, 9.5mm head diameter, 6.35mm head height (standard for cameras )
