RodLock 15mm – Quick-Snap Cable Management Clip

The RodLock 15mm is a lightweight, toolless cable management solution designed specifically for camera rigs using standard 15mm rod ecosystems. Cable clutter and port strain are major headaches on set—this clip solves both by securing HDMI, SDI, USB-C, and D-Tap power cords directly along your rig’s support rods without taking up valuable 1/4" -- 20 or 3/8" -- 16 threaded mounting holes.

How It Works

1. Sliding Collar Base: The full circular ring at the base slides smoothly onto any standard 15mm camera rod.

2. Spring-Flex Arm: The integrated "C" shape retention hook utilizes the natural elasticity of 3D-printed plastic (PLA or PETG) as a mechanical spring.

3. Quick-Snap Action: Simply press your cable against the side opening. The arm flexes open, lets the cable pop into the central channel, and snaps back to lock it in place.

4. Toolless Operation: No hex keys, thumbscrews, or hardware required to insert or release cables on the fly.
