I designed a base to easily move and exchange multiple miniatures around a game board. While playing Massive Darkness, it became cumbersome and sloppy moving multiple miniatures, called a "mob", around a game board. This base solves that problem by temporarily coupling multiple miniatures together.
The mob_x7 version of the print is scaled so that it fits within the Massive Darkness/Zombicide board game spaces (Approximately 80mm). Because some players use fewer minion minis to conserve space and reduce setup time, multiple versions of the Mob base are available where the number of minis is appended to the STL file name.

To install a mini, snap them into the base rings (starting with the middle, if relevant). To remove, tilt the mini toward either side of the base until the base releases it.
To move a mob, grab the mini in the mob base's center ring and move it.
Care was taken in this design so that miniatures with 25mm bases can easily be inserted, remain securely inserted while moving them around a game board, and easily removed when necessary. It was designed to be a lightweight as possible (to minimize filament waste) without sacrificing reliability.
