Young Justice was pinnacle for my love for the Flash and especially for Kid Flash. This was the first iteration of Kid Flash I ever saw, which developed even a stronger love for Wally West. I think this style alone can be used to reference kid flash because it's the ultimate symbol of a character idolizing and following the footsteps of who I believe to be the greatest superhero ever created : The Flash. Wallys journey throughout the show, throughout comics, even the CW show has always had an impact on me, and showing that even through our mistakes, and moments of self doubt, we to can become the heroes we dream to be. And Wally has shown that time and time again.
