Description:

Community feedback on the popular @ALExtremeError (aka @AEE) Elegoo Centauri Canvas Relocation & Riser W/ LED often mentions trouble with seating the PTFE tubes and being unable to see what's happening inside the riser. This remix aims to solve that problem by adding a simple yet effective top-down viewing "skylight"/window to that Right Rear (RR) riser component. This allows for viewing the end of the PC4-M10 coupler, and the PTFE tubes, as you seat them and tighten.

This model is for the Centauri Carbon 1 with Canvas upgrade. Version are created for the 45deg LED and 45deg non-LED risers.

Features:

Specifically designed add a window to the inside of the riser wall right where the PC4-M10 couplers and PTFE tubes meet. Sized to restrict the PTFE tube from curling upward into the viewing window. Small enough to minimize any fumes escaping if that's a concern (you will lose more to all the seams on the printer / waste chute). Designed to avoid supports for the viewing window area.

On the LED versions, I also trimmed the overhang for the LED strip to be flat bottomed. This will increase surface area for support/model interface. This does not impact functionality, and is simply to aid in printability.

Print List:

This is intended to be a 1:1 replacement of an @AEE original file, for either the 45° Riser (No LED) or 45° Riser (with LED). Print one of the plates from the included print profiles, based on which riser version you have and desired support material.

Print Settings

PETG for temp resistance. 0.2mm layer height. 2 wall loops. 15% rectilinear infill. Supports are required for the LED version. Mouse ears at corners or brim highly suggested to avoid warping. The rest of the settings can be kept at your slicer default 0.2mm profile.

PLA may work but was not tested, nor do I suggest it.
