Leslie William Nielsen Bust
This bust pays tribute to Leslie William Nielsen (1926–2010), the Canadian actor who became one of the most iconic figures in film and television comedy.
After beginning his career primarily in dramatic roles, Nielsen experienced a major turning point with Airplane! in 1980. His remarkable ability to remain completely serious while surrounded by increasingly absurd situations became his trademark. He later immortalized the character of Lieutenant Frank Drebin in the television series Police Squad! and the The Naked Gun film trilogy.
This bust is inspired by one of the most popular and recognizable photographs of Leslie Nielsen, showing him wearing a suit and tie with his characteristic subtle smile. The sculpture aims to preserve his distinctive facial features, warm expression, and the unique combination of seriousness and mischief that perfectly reflects the image he left behind.
Designed for 3D printing, the model emphasizes the facial volumes, wrinkles, hairstyle, and lines of his suit to create a recognizable tribute to an actor who became a true icon of comedy.
