This is a simple low hardware buffer tube stock with plenty of customization! I originally made this for the Dart Zone Nexus Pro X but I made sure it works on most if not all standard buffer tube.

You can build just the base stock for a clean and simple look, or install the shroud for a more sci-fi aesthetic and more customization options. With the shroud installed, you can also add the adjustable cheek rest and/or dart holders.

Print settings: Print the catch at 100% infill. 4 walls 20% cubic is fine for everything else. Everything can be printed without supports on most newer printers.

Assembling the main stock:

Tools needed:

Philips head screwdriver (or Alan key depending on your choice of screws), scissors, and a lighter (optional but nice for keeping elastic neat).

Hardware:

At least 4" of ~1/8" elastic, I reccomend this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078NGRF46

2 M3x6 screws (add and extra 2 if your using the shroud, another 8 for the cheek rest, and another 2 for every dart holder)

1 M3x16 screw

I reccomend just buying this kit for the screws https://www.amazon.com/Hincell-Phillips-Machine-Washers-Stainless/dp/B0D1CRFR6Z

Assembly:

  1. Screw the butt plate to the body of the stock with 2 M3x6 screws

  2. Cut about 4” of your elastic with the scissors and sear the ends with a lighter to prevent fraying.

  3. Tie a knot at one end of the elastic as close to the end as you can.

  4. Thread the end of the elastic without a knot on it through the side of the hole in the stock's catch with room for the knot to rest.

  5. Push the catch with the elastic threaded through it into its place in the stock body with the catch hook facing the top of the stock.

  6. Pull the elastic through the side of the hole on the stock body without space for a knot to rest.

  7. From the other side of the hole, pull the elastic through, then, with as much tension as possible, tie a knot in the elastic as close to the stock body as possible.

  8. Align the screw hole in the side of the stock body with the hole in the catch, then from the right side of the stock body, push an M3x16 screw through the hole in the side of the stock until it can no longer be pushed in by hand because it reaches the other side of the stock body where the screw threads into. After that simply tighten the screw with a screwdriver.

  9. Make sure that you tied the knot in step 7 with enough tension on the elastic so that the catch can return with enough force to retain the stock when on a buffer tube and that the knot is rested all the way in the space for it in the hole for the elastic.

  10. Cut off the excess elastic hanging from the bottom of the stock and sear the end with a lighter if you have one.

You're done! Enjoy!

Installing any of the add-ons is pretty straight forward. If you're having trouble with any of the assembly, I reccomend referencing the step file to see how everything is put together.
