Dobsonian Telescope Tube Control Handle
A simple control handle for a Dobsonian telescope tube, designed to make manual aiming and tracking more comfortable without touching the telescope tube directly.
The handle is attached to the tube using strong double-sided tape. I designed this model because I couldn’t find a similar solution here. Most available designs use magnets, but in my case they did not hold securely enough.
Print settings I used:
Layer height: 0.20 mm
Walls: 3
Top layers: 4
Bottom layers: 3
Top/bottom thickness: 1 mm
Infill: 35%
Infill pattern: Cubic
Top surface pattern: Concentric
These settings gave me a strong and rigid handle suitable for normal manual control of the telescope.
