Hammer and Nail Toy
This set is designed for kids to be able to hammer a lot of nails into a board. I was disappointed by the toy set with only three nail slots, so I made my own with 25 holes. The second problem was what to do once all of the nails were hammered in from the top side - so I designed the nail to be able to twist into holes on the top corners of the board, allowing children to turn the board upside down and hammer nails the other way.
This is based off a popular Montessori toy that is meant to improve motor skills, hand/eye coordination, and focus. Kids also love using tools like their parents, and this provides a repeatable (and possibly colorful!) way to hammer away.
Note on tolerances: all filament prints differently - I have designed the nails to have the exact right resistance for my materials, however yours may turn out differently. If the nail is too hard to hammer into the hole, I suggest scaling to 99%. If the nail is too easy to hammer, scale to 101% and go from there.
