My take on a brushless flywheel blaster. Aluminum cage plates act as heat sinks for the motors and keep the flywheels aligned. Because of the increased rigidity the flywheel cage will not deflect when a dart passed though the wheels. This seems to increase accuracy and reduce noise.  This blaster is meant to be used with machined spirit/T19 wheels.  Can use printed ones if you want but you have already gone down the brushless rabbit hole. Spend the money on machined wheels.

Build notes:

Some holes may need clean up due to print orientation. Personally I would rather ream a hole out with a drill to accommodate the small flat spot created by printing holes on a horizontal surface rather then oversize the whole in CAD to accommodate the flat spot.

The menu select cam/lever is a bit tricky to get working properly. If you have issues and cant get it working you may substitute it with a standard push button.

Currently the FTW hyperdrive solenoid is not available. Use the alternate side plates if you are using a generic solenoid.

Hardware list has had many revisions while the blaster was being tested by my friends and I. There may be mistakes.  If you find one, please let me know.

Plates must be cut from aluminum. Do not use steel or stainless steel. Copper is also OK but too expensive. Must be laser cut or milled. Plasma will not be able to cut the small holes accurately enough.  If you have access to waterjet with dynamic head a fine nozzle may work but laser is best. 2KW laser at the very minimum.  2 holes in the middle of the v plate must be tapped M4.

Laser cut plates available on request.

Best to use flyshot compatible ESC if possible but if you cant find them just use the "any ESC" version of the spirit code. This will allow you to use any Simonk ESC and not just SimonK esc with BS_Nfet.hex target.

Assembly guide and video overview coming soon.

Wire diagram coming soon.

Credits:

A huge thanks to Wonderboy and DPI for the firmware. This blaster runs on Spirit code and shares many of its electronic components.  Can be made with a custom PCB from DPI or with a standard Arduino nano.

Credit to MeinGonk for the stock hinge mechanism. The stock is inspired by  the GNK-200 folding stock.

Future plans:

Convert to AM32. If there is anyone that would like to help with this I would appreciate it.
