Magimix expresso automatic coffee machine handle

The handle on my Magimix expresso automatic was broken so I designed a replacement part. 

ASSEMBLY :

First you have to disassemble the original handle. To do so, first remove the end cap by using a flat screwdriver. Then you should see a small silver metal plate. Pull that plate out as well as the metal cylinder behind. Now at the bottom of the hole, you should see a screw. Since these handles are usually quite old and may have gotten wet over the time, the screw is often rusty and extremely hard to unscrew so you might have to cut the handle to get better access to the screw. And even then, I had to clamp it down and unscrew it with some pliers which took about 10 minutes. Anyway, now the only thing left to do is to insert the new handle and put the screw back in (or a new one if it's too rusty). Finally, put the new cap at the end (if it's not tight enough, you can add a piece of tape like I did) and you're done !

PRINT SETTINGS :

Material : PETG recommended

Orientation : I printed mine flat but it ended up with very hard to remove supports so printing vertically could be better, might not be as strong though. Please give me feedback if you do it this way.

Supports : Enabled

Infill : 30% should be fine but I added a modifier with 50% around the hole where the metal part slots in just to be sure.

Bonus : If you want good grip on the handle, you can add a fuzzy skin modifier on the handle (don't forget to set it to outline only).
