The fins consist of 3 main parts: two jaws and the blade. The blade is fixed between the jaws using M4 screws, and the whole unit slides into the SUP finbox.

The jaws - left and right one - should be printed using an environment resistant material, such as PETG. Using hard TPU could be an interesting option to improve fit and robustness, but I haven't tried that. The jaw models can be adjusted to match your specific SUP finbox in the attached Fusion model, also to match your fin blade material thickness (if you're cutting it from a sheet). See the "SheetThickness" model parameter in Fusion. Printing is straightforward, no supports, and I used 100% infill just to make them feel more substantial :)

The fin blade is best made out of sheet material, such as 3mm acrylic or polycarbonate, using a CNC router or a laser cutter. The outline is optimized for cutting with a 1/8 inch endmill. Use the attached DXF files to program your machine; they were generated by exporting the sketches from Fusion and cleaning them up in Vectric VCarve. Note that the mounting holes will need small chamfers; I used a chamfer bit in a drill press for that. Don't use transparent material for safety reasons: if it breaks, the pieces will be very difficult to find underwater. (Yes, one of the fins on my pictures is transparent, I realized that safety issue later).

Alternatively, the blade can be printed flat, should be easy enough, but probably won't look as good or be as reliable.

Two blade models are included: "KeelFin" and "RiverFin". The keel one is long and wide, for maximum stability. The river one is short and is best suited for paddleboarding in shallow water. My SUP has 3 identical fin boxes, and I found that using 3 short fins is enough for stability, and provides good rock clearance.
