For a long time I was thinking to learn to design gears. This contest motivated me to try. It was difficult for me, I almost gave up.
I only combined gears generated by the gears plug-in in Fusion. I took so many iterations but it is finally working.
As Prusa is using hexagons quite often, it was the only choice to use hexagon as the sun of the planetary gear setup.
When printing do not forget to unmerge to individual objects. It spins nicely.
