Designed specifically for Les Paul CRKD guitars including the Blueberry Burst, Black Tribal, Alpine White and Ebony Encore editions.
Due to small design and manufacturing tolerance differences, some first generation guitars can have a slightly loose or unstable neck to body connection. The community's most common solution has been the well known ''paper method'' which uses small pieces of paper to fill the extra space and reduce movement.
CRKD NeckLock was designed as a more reliable and consistent alternative. Instead of relying on paper shims and trial and error, this mod helps create a tighter and more solid connection between the neck and body.
To install the Side Inserts you will need to open the guitar.
Please note that later CRKD guitar revisions and models have addressed these tolerance issues, so they may not require this modification and more likely it may not even fit them.
Update: I made some changes to the Side Inserts, and you can now print them without supports. I also made a slightly thicker version that should only be printed with flexible materials. I used 72D TPU and it worked well.
