Printing Recommendations

  • Printer Type: Resin (SLA/DLP) is ideal for resolving the fine braided rope weave. On FDM printers, use a 0.2 mm nozzle or low layer heights.

  • Orientation:

    • Resin: Print angled at 30°–45° with light supports placed primarily on the smoother backside.

    • FDM: Lay flat on the build plate (backside down) with a high-resolution first layer, or print vertically with a brim and supports under the horizontal arms.

  • Layer Height: 0.03 mm – 0.05 mm (Resin) / 0.08 mm – 0.12 mm (FDM).

  • Infill: 100% (Pendant/Solid) or 20%+ if scaled up as a wall display.
