This Monkey D. Luffy HueForge captures Luffy in his classic confident, larger-than-life style, complete with his iconic straw hat, trademark grin and unmistakable red vest. The bold comic-book artwork and limited colour palette work surprisingly well as a layered HueForge, giving the finished piece plenty of depth while keeping those strong black outlines that make Luffy instantly recognisable.

I particularly like how the red really pops against the black and cream, while the beige and white bring out the highlights and give Luffy some nice definition without needing a huge number of colours.

Printed at 160 × 160 mm, this makes a great display piece for an anime collection, gaming room, office, or anywhere that needs a little more pirate energy. ☠
