Jeder kennt es noch aus dem Physikunterricht. Um die Richtung der Lorentzkraft (FL) zu bestimmen, musste die linke Hand häufig umständlich verdreht werden. Die drei Finger geben dabei die Richtungen der Geschwindigkeit (v), der magnetischen Flussdichte (B) und der daraus resultierenden Lorentzkraft (FL) an. Besonders bei räumlichen Anordnungen ist es jedoch nicht immer einfach, die Hand korrekt auszurichten.
Aus diesem Grund habe ich ein Werkzeug entwickelt, das die drei Finger der linken Hand ersetzt und die jeweiligen Richtungen anschaulich und eindeutig darstellt.
Everyone remembers this from physics class. To determine the direction of the Lorentz force (FL), you often had to twist your left hand in a rather awkward way. The three fingers indicate the directions of the velocity (v), the magnetic flux density (B), and the resulting Lorentz force (FL). However, especially with spatial arrangements, it is not always easy to orient the hand correctly.
For this reason, I have developed a tool that replaces the three fingers of the left hand and clearly and unambiguously illustrates the respective directions.
