The Venom Pro is a great little blaster and of course doesn't have any kind of rifling so accuracy could be better. I've used the Quickstring design on a couple of blasters and it's fantastic, and I saw this remix looked about the right diameter to fit in the Venom Pro barrel. Sure enough, the diameter was perfect for a toolless friction fit, it just needed to be a tad longer so I got to work.
Print with the flanged side down, outer and inner brim, supports on build plate. I used 4-5 walls and 15% infill but infill doesn't matter much here.
Depending on your print quality, you may need to sand or file the inside of the shroud and the outside of the body for a nice clean fit. Test the fit and be cautious when sanding - you want a "goldilocks" fit, not so tight it sticks and breaks if you try to disassemble it, and not so loose that it falls out with regular usage. I even file out the string slots to remove burrs and ensure alignment.
I've included just the modified shroud here, you'll need the body and tip from B1g choppa's remix for a complete device.
Because of the lower velocity of the Venom Pro, I found that the best performance required a higher angle than initially expected. Of course, the brilliance of the Quickstring design is that it's easy to adjust it (on the fly even!) so there's a nice quick feedback loop while adjusting and testing. I'd guess mine is set to 10-12° but it's hard to really measure it.
I haven't chrono'd it yet but I will shortly.
