I made a card holder for Aliens: Another Glorious Day In The Corps, I wanted something that would print quickly, didn't use up lots of filament printing superfluous flat sections and would fold up nicely for stacking/storage.
I use filament in the hinges and snip them flush once done. Sometimes I had to drill out the hinges to get the filament to fit - other times filament went into the hinge just fine.
