SwitchBot Pro mounting plate for Danish front door.
This mounting plate is designed to fit the SwitchBot Pro electronic lock to the type of Danish front door shown in the included photo. I'm posting it here, in the off chance someone else need it, or can use it as a base for another mounting solution.
Unfortunately, the identification sticker on the door is heavily worn and almost unreadable, so it cannot be used as a search term to identify the exact door model.
It designed to fit a 30-32mm wide and 9mm tall escutcheo.
Step file included to make it easier to remix.
Installation
Remove the existing thumbturn from the inside of the door. (Secured by a lockpin)
Attach one of the included adapters to the door cylinder.
Remove the original backplate from the SwitchBot lock. The mounting plate is designed to replace it and uses the four original SwitchBot screws to secure the lock to the mounting plate.
Press the four 3 mm bolts into the slots on the inside of the mounting plate.
Position the SwitchBot lock with the mounting plate on the inside of the door.
From the outside of the door, use four 3 × 12 mm countersunk bolts or grubscrews to secure the mounting plate and lock to the door.
The result is a secure mounting solution that allows the SwitchBot Pro to be fitted to this particular type of Danish front door without modifying the lock itself other then non-destructively removing the thumbturn.
