Gaggia E24 Portafilter Holder

Here's a little portafilter holder I made.

It was designed and works with the stock Gaggia E24 portafilter. It might work for other models too, but I can't confirm.
(if you have a different model but an identical portafilter it would be great if you could comment :) )

It's designed to hold on to the handle, so it can be stored even when still hot and no plastic is touching the metal / anywhere you wouldn't want it. 

• It can be used upright on a smooth level surface, without being screwed down, see the last pic, that's how I'm using it

• It can be screwed to any flat surface at any angle you like, as long as the basket isn't pointing downwards

  • the basket will not touch the mounting surface, there's a little gap

  • comes with 2 screwholes with 4.2mm diameter

  • please don't use double stick tape to mount it

  • the lower angle you use the more torque will be applied to the print and screws, keep that in mind. Any printed part will creep under constant load over prolonged time

• 100% supportless print

• I printed mine in PLA and all walls, this is what it's scaled for to fit "just right". If you print a material that shrinks, such as ABS or ASA, you might want to scale it up ever so slightly in X and Y. 

• when using it standing up without screwing it down: the basket should always be on the side of the "legs" like in the pictures - if not it might fall over.
