I primarily made this to practice my mechanical design skills, but also to make a cool thing that I can set on my dresser :)
How to build:
Print this many of each part Step file:
Base - 1
Ghost - 1
ZTran base - 1
Right wall - 1
Left wall - 1
Crank - 1
Crank gear - 1
Translation gear 1 - 3
Roof - 1
Tilt gear - 1
Back wall - 1
Back gear support - 1
Yaw gear connector - 1
Tilt caddy - 1
Tilt rod - 1
Translation gear 2 - 2
Translation gear 2 connector - 2
Translation gear 1 connector - 1
Tran base support beam - 2
Hor beam half 1 - 1
Hor beam half 2 - 1
Gear spacer 0.06 - 6
Gear spacer 0.10 - 7
You also need ~6 inches of some stiff metal wire, to connect a couple parts
Assembly instructions:
Start by building the basic box, the base, left wall on the left, right on the right, etc. (use 3d model as reference)
Add in the two Tran base support beams at the bottom, the wider end inserted into the base
Feed the Ghost through the roof slot, then put the tilt caddy on its beam, with the circular hole facing the right. Place the rectangular peg in the matching back wall hole.
Attach the ghost's beam to the ztran base, just by pushing it on. (may take some force) Put the ztran base on the two pegs in the bottom, it should be able to smoothly move up and down, while also being able to tilt a bit.
Put two 0.1 spacers and two 0.06 spacers on the crank's shaft, then put this in the highest hole on the right wall, with the actual crank side facing out.
Add a 0.06 spacer on the interior side, then the crank gear atop that.
Put the translation gear 1 connector in the hole directly underneath the crank, and the translation gear 2 connector right underneath. (no spacers this time)
On the upper connector, add 1 of each spacer, then the translation gear 1. On the connector below this, add one 0.1 spacer, then the translation gear 2, with the pegs facing to the wall, so they mesh with the above gear.
Hold another translation gear 1 against this gear, lining up with the remaining hole on the right wall. Also hold one of each gear spacer on the side facing the wall. (the blue stuff in the below image)

Feed one hor beam half (doesn't matter which) through these spacers, and then the gear, holding them in place.
Stick the Back gear support in the roof's matching slot, then use a Yaw gear connector to attach the tilt gear to the back of it the Back gear support (facing the back wall)
Insert the Translation gear 2 connector in the left wall's center hole, and put a 0.1 spacer on the end (on the interior side of the left wall), then place a Translation gear 2 at the end of the connector, with the side with most pegs facing to the left.
Follow the same process as the other side to add in the Hor beam half 2, along with its gear. When doing this, ensure you align the inward pointing peg of the two Translation gear 2s, so that they are symmetrical.
Cut the wire into three 2-inch pieces, and use two pieces it to connect the Ztran base's side hooks to the protruding peg on the translation gear 2s.
Insert the tilt rod into the tilt caddy, and use the remaining wire to connect the tilt gear's peg to the tilt rod, setting its length so that the rod is pressed in as far as possible when the peg on the gear is as far left as possible.
Turn the crank, and watch the ghost hover :D
