A compact case designed for storing retainers, clear aligners or mouthguards.
The entire case is printed in one piece, including the functional print-in-place hinge, so no assembly of the case itself is required after printing.
The case closes using two 3 × 6 mm magnets. Simply glue the magnets into place with a small drop of glue.
The design also includes ventilation holes to allow airflow inside the case.
The approximate internal dimensions are 75.6 × 75.6 mm, excluding the rounded corners and magnet recesses. The internal depth of each half is approximately 10 mm. Please check the dimensions of your retainer, aligner or mouthguard before printing.
The model can be printed without supports.
I printed and tested the case using PETG.
