This minimalist hygrometer holder accommodates a piece of 3M 1/2" (13mm) foam double-sided tape to stick inside things.

This minimalist hygrometer holder accommodates a piece of 3M 1/2" (13mm) foam double-sided tape to stick to a surface. The "normal" version has a curved front to match the curved inside of a cereal dry box. The print texture from the curve helps anchor the tape, so don't be shy using a fat nozzle or layer size to print it fast. I printed the example below with a 0.4 nozzle and a 0.2 layer height.
I've also included a flat version for use on the inside of enclosures, windows, and such.
Both versions should be printed on their "back" and should not require any supports. Setting seams to "Aligned" also seems to work well for them in OrcaSlicer. The corner cutouts help relieve stress when the hygrometer is inserted, so you can get away with minimal fill. I have used down to 5% Gyroid on them in PLA without issue.
Both versions are also public domain so do what you will with them! Enjoy!
