About the Model

Bring a piece of ancient history to your bookshelf with this 3D printable Book Nook inspired by the First Temple of Jerusalem, traditionally known as Solomon's Temple.

This project was designed as a miniature architectural scene combining historical inspiration with the creativity of 3D printing. The goal was to create a detailed display piece that fits naturally between books while giving the impression of looking into a small historical scene.

The model is composed of multiple printable parts that can be assembled after printing. Different parts can be printed separately, making it possible to use different filament colors for the architectural details.

Printing

The model was designed with Fusion 360 and for the A1 Mini 3D in mind.

! This is Not a Print to Go model !

A lot of work went into finishing the project, including sanding, gluing, adjustments, painting, and electrical work. If you're willing to put in the work to finish it, feel free to do so, and I appreciate any suggestions for improvement and comments. The exact settings may need to be adjusted depending on your printer, filament and desired level of detail.

Design

The model was created as a miniature interpretation of Solomon's Temple, with the proportions and details adapted to work as a 3D printable Book Nook.

This project is intended primarily as a decorative and educational miniature rather than a definitive archaeological reconstruction.

If you print this model, I would love to see your result. Feel free to share your make and show how you incorporated the Book Nook into your bookshelf!

Happy printing!
