The concept
This dock lets you easily connect the Retroid Pocket 6 to an external monitor. It houses a removable 7-in-1 Anker A83D2 USB-C hub, whose ports (4K@60Hz HDMI, USB-A, USB-C data,Power Delivery) stay accessible from the outside. A 90° right-angle sonero X-UA135 USB-C adapter links the hub's built-in cable to the console's USB-C port: just snap the Retroid Pocket 6 into the dock and everything is connected.
3-part design
The model is designed as 3 separately printed, stacked parts:
Top part: the cradle the console clips into.
Middle part: houses the Anker A83D2 hub and the right-angle adapter.
Bottom part: snaps onto the middle part and closes/holds the hub in place, acting as a cover.
The top part is glued (Loctite) onto the middle part. The middle and bottom parts, on the other hand, can easily be adapted by anyone for their own USB-C hub model — feel free to modify them for your hub and share your version!
What you'll need
1× Anker A83D2 7-in-1 USB-C hub (or a hub with compatible dimensions if you adapt the middle/bottom parts)
1× sonero X-UA135 90° right-angle USB-C adapter
Loctite glue (to attach the top part to the middle part)
Assembly
Glue the top part onto the middle part (Loctite).
Place the Anker A83D2 hub in the middle part and plug the right-angle adapter into its built-in cable.
Snap the bottom part onto the middle part to close it up.
Slide the cable+adaptator in the top part.
This is my first model on Printables. Feedback and suggestions are very welcome and if you print it or tweak it, I'd love to see your version !
