Summary:
This is a jig I made to be able to locate the holes for my RCBS partner press on my self-made QD plates for my work top.
The holes are properly located for the RCBS Partner Press, even though its a rectangular shape, it is designed to be clamped, use the hole to locate your press on either your work surface, or in my case, on an aluminum plate to either drill the hole, or for me locate the punch to mark my aluminum plate.
My Setup:
The reason it is designed this way:
I ordered 200x200x8mm Aluminum Plates from Amazon to make my own QD system. Allows my to easily swap my presses/vice/etc and then only have 4 holes in the bench to deal with when using it for other jobs.
The presses are mounted to the plate using ¼" x 1.25" countersunk screws, washers, nuts.
The jig should work if butted to the edge of the table and locate the press where it needs to be mounted.
