Royal Facets is a fully original chess-piece collection designed from scratch by 3_Dave.
Angular surfaces, flowing vertical folds, and distinctive architectural details give the entire set a consistent sculptural character while keeping every piece immediately recognizable during play.
Each army contains:
1 King
1 Queen
2 Rooks
2 Bishops
2 Knights
8 Pawns
Print the prepared 16-piece plate twice and reverse the body and base colors for the opposing army. A single filament change at 5.42 mm creates the contrasting base band—no painting is required.
The included ready-to-print 3MF contains the exact orientations, tree supports, brim, color change, and print settings used for the physical set shown. Separate STL files for all six designs are also included, allowing custom layouts, scaling, and additional Queens for pawn promotion.

The supplied 3MF is configured for PLA, a 0.4 mm nozzle, 0.18 mm layers, 12% 3D Honeycomb infill, and automatic tree supports.
