Description: A practical, two-piece protective case specifically designed for safely storing and transporting 75mm FPV tiny whoops, such as the BetaFPV Air75 or Happymodel Mobula. The design is optimized for easy and secure attachment to the outside of a bag or a technical FPV backpack, keeping your quad safe but instantly accessible.
The two halves snap together securely using hidden neodymium magnets that are embedded directly inside the plastic during the printing process.
Required Hardware:
20x Neodymium magnets (8x2 mm) – 10 pieces per half.
⚙ Recommended Print Settings:
Material: PETG, ASA, or ABS (for better impact and temperature resistance outdoors)
Nozzle: 0.4 mm
Perimeters (Walls): 4 to 6 (for structural strength, especially around the magnet cavities)
Infill: 20–25% Gyroid
Supports: ON
⚠ Critical Printing & Assembly Instructions (READ CAREFULLY):
Print Pause (CRITICAL): You must set a print pause exactly at Layer in your slicer! At this point, the printer will park the printhead, allowing you to insert all 10 magnets into the prepared cavities. If you do not set this pause, the printer will bridge over the holes and seal them.
Mind the Polarity: Before dropping the magnets into the printed cavities, double-check their magnetic orientation. If you insert them backwards, the two halves of the case will repel each other.
The Superglue Trick: Add a tiny drop of CA glue (superglue) to the bottom of each cavity before inserting the magnet. The printer's steel nozzle will strongly attract the neodymium magnets as it passes over them. The glue ensures the magnets won't jump out and ruin your print.
Clearance Check: Make absolutely sure that the inserted magnets sit completely flush or slightly below the current printed layer. If they protrude even a fraction of a millimeter, the fast-moving nozzle will collide with them and likely cause a print failure.
