When using the trench cut, it is springy thus not accurate. it does not allow trenching in thick wood either.

Evolution R255SMS-DB mitre saw is not a bad tool for the price.
If using the trench cut facility, the little metal plate which is used with the adjuster screw is quite springy, thus not accurate.
It also does not allow trenching of tall timber.
These spacers fit under the metal plate, which stops the spring and also raises it, allowing use in taller wood.
Angles are 20, 30 and 45 degrees.
Other Evolution saws use the same trench cut metal plate, so these will fit other models.
