Iron Man Gauntlet – Complete Modular STL Set
This collection provides every component needed to construct a fully articulated Iron Man–style gauntlet. Each element is supplied as an individual STL file, allowing precise scaling, clean printing, and easy integration into cosplay builds or LED‑enhanced props.
I would add a flexible hinge tape to it to connect glove_r_pt02 to the glove_r_pt01. I don't know about the im_handplate_1 connecting to the glove_r_pt02 or glove_r_pt01.
Included Components
Palm Shell The primary hand enclosure, built with internal reinforcement and exterior plating inspired by Mk‑series armour designs.
Articulation Joints A full suite of flexible connectors that link finger segments together. These pieces are intended for TPU to provide smooth, natural bending.
Repulsor Lens Cover A circular cap designed to sit over the repulsor recess. Works as a light diffuser when paired with LEDs and prints well in translucent materials.
Finger Plates Armour segments for all five fingers, including upper and lower shells. Each piece fits over the joint system to create screen‑accurate movement and plating.
Backhand Armour A contoured top plate that rests above the palm and finger bases, forming the iconic layered Iron Man hand silhouette.
Printing Guidance
Armour Components (palm, finger plates, backhand): PLA or PETG recommended for rigidity and clean surface finish.
Joint System: TPU for flexibility and reliable articulation.
Repulsor Cover: Transparent or translucent PLA/PETG for lighting effects.
Layer Height: 0.12–0.20 mm for crisp detail.
Supports: Needed for curved geometry on the palm and backhand sections.
Assembly Process
Print the articulation joints in TPU and assemble them into the finger segments.
Slide the finger plates over the joint assemblies.
Mount the palm shell onto your glove base or chosen support structure.
Position the backhand armour over the top of the hand.
Insert the repulsor lens cover into the central cavity and add LEDs if desired.
Check movement, adjust scale if necessary, and refine fit.
Additional Notes
All files can be mirrored to produce a left‑hand version.
Suitable for cosplay, wearable tech experiments, or display models.
Components can be resized to accommodate different hand dimensions
Waring: Some parts don't connect. I don't know how to make it happen but I would add a flexible hinge tape to it to connect glove_r_pt02 to the glove_r_pt01. I don't know about the im_handplate_1 connecting to the glove_r_pt02 or glove_r_pt01.
