A few LED covers for a simulated Vacuum Tube. Shown with a yellow LED installed and controlled with an Arduino for a flickering candle effect. I will switch to a RGB LED to get the color and the pulsating glowing orange of a real vacuum tube.
Has a 6mm hole to fit a 5mm LED.
Used with good results on “My Vintage Radio” build on Makers World.
Printed with white or light-colored filament so LED will show through.
Infill was at 3% and 2 walls. Top plug was 15% infill and 2 walls.
Walls will be thin. Glue top plug on.
No supports needed
Note: The top cap is a little small. It works, but I would increase the size a little in the slicer.
