## Overview

The FlipFolio is a minimalist, ultra-compact pocket notebook and rigid clipboard designed to give a second life to scrap paper.

Cut any standard 8.5 × 11" sheet into fourths (or A4 into quarters) to create perfect 4.25 × 5.5" (108 × 140 mm) notepad sheets. The FlipFolio holds up to 40 sheets, protects them inside a rigid hard-shell case, and folds all the way around 360° to serve as a stiff writing board on the go.

## 🖨 Recommended Print Settings

* Orientation: Print opened with the outer faces down on the build plate.

(Tip: Rotate the model 45° diagonally on your slicer plate to easily fit standard 220×220 mm or 256×256 mm print beds!)

* Layer Height: 0.20 mm (or 0.16 mm for even smoother hinge tolerances)

* Wall Perimeters: 3 or 4 walls (ensures solid, durable hinge knuckles)

* Top/Bottom Layers: 4 or 5

* Infill: 15% - 20% (Gyroid, Grid, or Honeycomb)

* Material:

* PLA: Works great with crisp hinge separation and a satisfying snap.

* PETG: Recommended for enhanced layer toughness and long-term spring flex on the clamp bar.

## ✂ Paper Cutting Guide

Turn scrap paper, misprints, or blank letter paper into fresh notepad refills:

1. First Cut (Horizontal): Cut an 8.5 × 11" sheet in half at 5.5" → two 5.5 × 8.5" halves.

2. Second Cut (Vertical): Cut both halves in half at 4.25" → four 4.25 × 5.5" quarter-sheets.

3. Load & Write: Drop the stack into the tray and press the clamp bar down until it clicks!

(Tip: Cutting just 10 sheets of scrap paper gives you a full 40-page notepad in two quick cuts!)

## 🚀 Post-Processing & First Use

1. Break in the Hinge: When removing the print from the build plate, gently wiggle the front cover back and forth. You will hear a slight initial "crackle" as the print-in-place air gap releases, followed by smooth rotation.

2. Install the Clamp Bar: Place your paper in the tray pocket and press the clamp bar into the left recess until it clicks into the detents.
