A small enclosure for a ATX Power Supply, includes 8 banana connectors, a switch, and an internal fan.
Instructions:
parts needed:
4x M4x10-12 screws
ATX Power Supply (this includes the fan)
Small Circular Switch,
8x Small Banana Connectors
Circular Rubber Feet about 10-12mm in diameter (could be 3D printed in a flexible filament like TPU)
1. take apart an old ATX power supply, snip off it's connectors
2. insert the Board with all it's components (may require some finagling)
3. insert the fan and screw it in place (you can probably use the same screws the original case used)
4. connect the switch between GND (any black wire) and the green wire from the motherboard connector.
5. add some small rubber feet by placing them in the lid (facing the sticky side up) then put the enclosure box on top and push it in, (this aligns the rubber feet) you can then take the box out of the lid and screw the lid on the top.
the chord sticking out the side is for daisy chaining, shown in the PLACEHOLDER picture.
it can be daisy chained and/or stacked with itself, my function generator, and in the future I will make an electronic load, likely with this same enclosure.
I might add a custom PCB and change the design so that I can have output adjustment for current and voltage.
The Cutouts in the front IO are for info about output, I haven't modeled and printed them yet.
