This is an attachment for a chain link fence that allows you to securely "lasso" a large number of raspberry plants.

This project allows you to build a tension-able support system to keep your raspberries (and surely, other plants) from touching the ground. It is designed to fit a standard chain link fence top post (34-35mm diameter).
Additional required hardware:
2x M3x12 screws
Screw Tapping tool for M3 Screws
Kite String
Plant clips

15% infill
Post Processing:
Use the m3 screw tapper to create a tight screw fit for the reel in both holes
Clamp onto the top of a standard 34mm chain link fence top post
Secure both screws to the two halves of the reel together, ensuring that the reel can rotate freely around the post
Thread the kite string through attached plant clips along the perimeter of the plant growth
Attach one end of the string to the fence post and tie it securely
Tie the other end of the kite string to the newly attached plant reel
Simply wind the reel portion of the fence spool until the desired level of taughtness is achieved. For best results, attach the reel in a position where the force on the string is perpendicular to the pull and weight of the plants. Secure the reel in place with the stopper, which should add enough friction to keep the reel from unwinding.
