This is my take on a controller stand for the 2026 steam controller.
There are 4 different versions available.
Two different base versions, One with a solid base and one with a hollowed out base.
the intent with the hollow version is that you can fill the base with something heavy to make it more sturdy.
There is an "insert" model available. The intent with this is to print is with 100% infill to add some weight to the hollow version.
There are also 2 different types of fastener available for the "right" side, one with slots for a M2.5mm hex nut and the other is for heat-set inserts.
The heat-set insert version is made to work with CNC Kitchens M2.5x4mm, M3x3mm or M3x5.7mm.
The length of the M2.5 or M3 screws can vary between 6-10mm for the heat-set insert version and 7-10mm for the hex nut version.
Minimum screw head diameter is 3.8mm and the maximum is 5.5mm. Optimal is 5mm
Print settings:
Layer height: i printed with 0.2mm and arachne wall generation.
Support: enabled for all versions to keep the cutout for the puck in decent shape, and also for the hex nut versions to keep slot more accurate. I used tree
Infill: I used 15% crosshatch. you can do with more infill but i don't recommend less than 15%
Wall loops: for the heat-set i used 3 walls but 2 walls works fine for the other ones
