A Japanese lantern-inspired indoor stand adapted for Amazon Echo Pop. The modular pedestal is 914.4 mm (36 in) tall to the lantern support surface.

ECHO POP REVISION

Designed around a nominal 99 × 83 × 91 mm speaker envelope. The revised body provides 103 × 95 mm clearance, a chamber raised by 50 mm, a 20 mm central cable passage, recessed cable channel and rear exit. The original pedestal and roof geometry are retained.

PRINT THE FIT TRAY FIRST

Check your actual Pop, rubber foot and power plug in PRINT_FIRST_Pop_Clearance_Tray.stl before printing the full body. Verify the connector passes through the 20 mm opening. This is a loose clearance tray, not a contour-fit socket. Do not scale individual parts.

FILES AND QUANTITIES

7 STL files and assembly README. Print one body, roof, base reservoir, base cap and top adapter; print four copies of the column. The small tray is for testing. Existing owners of the original stand and roof need only the revised body after checking fit.

PRINTING AND ASSEMBLY

PETG; 0.20–0.28 mm layers; 4 walls; 5 top/bottom layers; 20–25% infill. Units are mm. Inspect supports for decorative overhangs in your slicer. Route the cable through the pedestal and body floor, then toward the rear (+Y). Face the speaker toward -Y. Remove the roof to access top buttons. Ballast the base with dry sand and secure stand joints.

TEST STATUS

STL surfaces and winding checked digitally; rectangular device envelope and straight top insertion path checked for no body collision. The owner confirmed physical testing of this Echo Pop revision on September 12, 2026 and reported that all is well. Check sound and microphone pickup in place. Gallery images are 3D model renders and a digital clearance diagram, not photographs of physical prints. Use indoors in a dry location; the printed roof does not weatherproof the Echo Pop.
