Artificer Foundry Dice Tower – Work in Progress

This is a custom artificer-themed dice tower I’m currently developing for tabletop gaming. The goal is to make it feel less like a traditional dice tower and more like a small piece of magical machinery sitting on the table.

The design currently includes a large top hopper, an internal dice track, a cannon-style dice exit, exposed gears, pipes, riveted armor panels, access hatches, and a heavy industrial fantasy look inspired by an Artificer workshop.

The center tower and dice path are already modeled, and I’m currently working through the exterior details, side panels, tray system, storage, and other functional features.

Planned features include:

• Dice storage drawer

• Modular side panels

• Spell-slot / resource tracking

• Additional mechanical and arcane details

• FDM-friendly construction

• Optional multi-material or transparent accent pieces

The project is being designed with 3D printing in mind, so I’m trying to balance detailed machinery with parts that are actually practical to print and assemble.

This is very much a WIP, so dimensions, details, and individual components may change as testing continues.

I’ll keep updating the model and adding photos, print settings, assembly information, and revised files as the design develops.

Feedback and ideas are welcome, especially from other D&D players, Artificer fans, and people who enjoy unnecessarily complicated ways to roll tiny plastic math rocks. 🔧🎲
