Spook up your pumpkin carving! 🎃😈

Skip the messy carving and give your Jack-O'-Lantern some wicked personality with these 3D printed Devil Horns!

Print them in bright red, glowing filament, or spooky black to customize your Halloween decor. No supports needed—just print, poke, and enjoy!

🛠 What You Need

  • 📦 Hardware: Bambu Maker’s Supply M4x6x6 Round Threaded Brass Inserts ( please buy it from the link below to help support more great models like this)

  • 🔩 Fasteners: Matching M4 machine screws (length depends on your pumpkin's wall thickness, usually 20mm–30mm works best)

  • 🖨 3D Prints: Your decorative pumpkin piece (horns, eyes, ears) designed with a sharp, hollow peg on the back

  • 🔥 Tools: A soldering iron (set to roughly 250°C / 480°F) and a standard screwdriver

🔄 Step-by-Step Assembly Instructions Step 1: Prep Your 3D Printed Part

Before heading to the pumpkin, you need to seat the metal insert into your plastic print.

  1. Place the M4 brass insert directly over the hollow opening on the back peg of your 3D printed part.

  2. Touch the hot tip of your soldering iron to the top of the brass insert.

  3. Apply gentle, downward pressure. As the metal heats up, it will smoothly melt its way into the plastic.

  4. Stop when the top of the insert is perfectly flush with the plastic surface. Pull the iron away and let it cool for 2 minutes.

Step 2: Pierce the Pumpkin

  1. Clean out the inside of your pumpkin normally.

  2. Take your 3D-printed part and firmly press its sharp back peg straight through the outer skin of the pumpkin until the decorative piece sits flat against the surface.

  3. Tip: If the pumpkin skin is exceptionally tough, use a small nail or screwdriver to poke a tiny pilot hole first.

Step 3: Clamp It from the Inside

  1. Reach your hand inside the pumpkin.

  2. Locate the plastic peg that you just pushed through the wall. You should see the brass threads of the insert facing you.

  3. Thread your M4 machine screw into the insert by hand, then tighten it down with a screwdriver.

As you tighten the screw, it draws the exterior decoration and the interior screw head tightly together. The soft pumpkin wall gets perfectly sandwiched in the middle, locking your creation permanently into place!
