By photo as shown above woodworkers and DIY may use this as center drill jigs otherwise as you wish as it wannabe. I recommend to get dowel set from any hardware store (whenever their stock exists) once scaled down to make this center drill jig whereas this provides the complete tool. Traditional tool it is, simple design make it yours by customizing it hint rope and stake like a rope driven drill press (bearings come in handy).
3D Print multiples of these handles (hint frame saw, bow saw, etc) yeah you decide, might as well make tools for workshop make sure to own a holesaw set and some wire hook tensioners, there is your workshop tools well sorta organized for DIY, Hehe :D. I recommend to start a sawhorse workbench project first then progress from there after making these starter tools because you might need them then for future projects like extending your sawhorse to a proper full sized workbench yeah clamps are essential while necessary.
Watch this before making drill press one whereas this is another way of use (yes I randomly tried chose to draw and 3d model that handle for that drill press using FreeCAD).
