Here is my remix of the Encore's original toolhead parts to fit Dmitry Sorkin's direct drive Minifeeder on it. I've opted to not use any adapters, because I wanted to save the Encore's original looks, which I like a lot. So I had to remix both the Encore's and the Minifeeder's parts =)
I've also adjusted some dimensions to fit my personal needs. Made the belt paths on the carriage a bit wider, also corrected the front cover as it didn't fit my exact fan well.
This whole mod requires 3 heatset inserts, 1 additional M3x10 BHCS (goes in the back) and and 2xM3x8 BHCS to hold the feeder. Also you have to change the front-side M3x10 BHCS for a M3x12 one.
I would also recommend to drill the feeding hole in the carriage with a 2mm drill (by hand) and to print the front cover in the orientation shown in the photo. It takes longer and requires some support removal (it's always a good choice to have your supports zeroed in for easy removal), but it makes the part just so much stronger.
P.S. Yes, I do know, that this mod makes the toolhead quite a bit heavier and probably some of this additional weight could be excessive. And yes, I do recognise that with the Encore's 3d-printed frame it might affect the print quality a lot.
But in the end, we're all doing it for fun, right? =)
