"Endurance Extender is an add-on attachment for the HC Diana blaster that adds larger battery capacity, a kill switch, and toggle-able voltmeter for battery monitoring.
This was conceived in preparation for Ragnaroktoberfest 2026, an all-day HvZ campaign where reliability and endurance outweigh all other factors.
Battery Capacity - Diana’s stock battery compartment fits the 550mAh battery it ships with, and this increases its holding capacity to hold a 1300mAh (or similar) battery
Kill Switch - normally, if a player wanted to save battery in between rounds of play, they’d have to manually open the front compartment and disconnect the battery. Reluctance, laziness and forgetfulness are all reasons why players don’t (am guilty, this has cost me two Diana batteries that were drained too low and whose cells became too unbalanced). As you might imagine, it’s also way easier and quicker than reconnecting a battery and closing the compartment door.
Additionally, easier boot into two- or three-round burst modes.
Voltmeter - easily accessible via a middle finger-pressable button, allows player to keep an eye on pack voltage. QOL and for optimizers who don’t want to run a lowered-performance blaster from lowered voltage (before it gets to a shutoff or detrimental point for the battery itself).
user-dependent battery monitoring (no alarm, just keeping an eye on voltage)
Silhouette - Rag moderators have specifically asked for diana users to break up the pistol silhouette anyway, so this is a nice way to get utility out of otherwise purely-cosmetic volume"
More detailed instructions to come, just pushing this out as-is before Ragnaroktoberfest2026
In addition to these printed parts, you will need:
Voltmeter: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08RYPRZFF?th=1
Voltmeter Switch: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073TYWX86
Kill Switch (I used this one but any universal switch should work here): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000CO9B2W
3.5mm bullet connectors
Various M3 Screws (15-16mm, ideally flat head)
M3 Heat Insert
M3 Thumbscrew (or print your own thumbscrew attachment for a socket head)
Wire (I used 18AWG - probably overkill - and 22AWG)
XT30 Connector
Circuit is simple, but routing is a little non-intuitive and interweaves between parts. I am writing a detailed assembly/wiring guide, but in the meantime please refer to photos
Parts fit reasonably well with deburring any flashing from brims, etc. If something doesn't fit nicely (like voltmeter or switch), a blast from a heat gun did the trick for me.
