🍃 Pattern Texture Rollers – Leaves
A growing collection of 3D printable texture rollers with seamless leaf patterns, designed for adding decorative textures to clay, dough and other soft materials.
The Leaves Collection includes multiple leaf designs, different pattern densities, and both Raised and Recessed versions. More designs and variations may be added to the collection over time.
🏺 What can they be used for?
These texture rollers can be used for many creative projects and materials, including:
Pottery and ceramic clay
Polymer clay
Air-dry clay
Cookie and biscuit dough
Fondant and cake decorating
Modeling clay
DIY and craft projects
They are great for creating decorative textures on pottery, cookies, biscuits, fondant, tiles, ornaments, jewelry, decorations and other handmade projects.
📐 Roller dimensions
All rollers have the same dimensions:
Ø41 × 100 mm
The pattern has a depth or height of 1 mm, depending on the version:
Raised – the pattern extends 1 mm above the roller surface, creating an impressed pattern in the material.
Recessed – the pattern is engraved 1 mm into the roller surface, creating a raised pattern in the material.
📁 File naming system
All files follow a simple and consistent naming system.
For example:
Leaves_1 - Row_12 - Raised
Leaves_1 – identifies the individual leaf design.
Row_12 – indicates the pattern density and element size.
Raised – indicates the type of roller surface.
🔍 Pattern density
The Row value determines how densely the pattern is distributed around the roller.
A higher Row value means more repetitions and smaller pattern elements.
A lower Row value means fewer repetitions and larger pattern elements.
For example:
Row_6 → larger leaves and a less dense patternRow_12 → smaller leaves and a denser pattern
This gives you different pattern scales to choose from depending on the size and style of your project.
🔄 Seamless design
The patterns are designed to repeat seamlessly around the circumference of the roller, allowing you to create long, continuous textures without visible breaks in the pattern.
🌱 Growing collection
This is part of my Pattern Texture Rollers series.
The Leaves Collection will continue to grow, with new leaf designs, densities and variations added over time.
Other themed Pattern Texture Roller collections may also be available.
🚧 Printing Note
Some patterns may be more challenging to print than others, especially versions with small details, high pattern density or thin lines.
Printability may depend on your printer, nozzle size, layer height, material and slicer settings. If a particular version is difficult to print, consider choosing a lower Row value, thicker Stroke, or a less detailed pattern variation.
The models have not yet been physically tested, so feedback from your prints is very welcome.
🍪 Food use
If you plan to use the rollers with cookie dough, fondant or other food, please use suitable food-contact materials and appropriate food-safe printing, processing and finishing methods.
