[3D printing]

PETG for top connector or it will be brittle and will break almost immediately

PLA for the body or whatever you like

body and connector printed at 100% infill and 4 wall loops

for best aesthetic use these settings for the body:

seam position: back

scarf joint: contour and hole

orient sideways in slicer so that seam would be opposite side of the side with the image/text (image provided in ZIP)

[Hardware/Assembly]

designed to use (PURPLE) CH340E usb type C board you can find it on AliExpress for about $2 CAD and female spring sockets around $7 CAD for 100 gold or nickle plated will work fine

reference images of non 3d printed components provided in images folder in ZIP

CH340E: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005415840137.html

Spring sockets: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002830101899.html

for wire I used solid core breadboard jumper wire about 22 AWG to 24 AWG I do not recommend using stranded wire but you can use whatever you want/have

to help with soldering the wire to the sockets wrap the wire around the leg of the socket

use heat shrink on the joints on the connector sockets to stop shorts(not totally nessasary if you are careful)

wire guide:

Left(TX) -> RXD

middle(GND) -> GND

Right(RX) -> TXD

image reference: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/GMMan/tama-para-research/refs/heads/master/hardware/prongs.jpg

the RXD and TXD will have to crisscross so I soldered one on the top and bottom so that it doesn't short

made to be glued together I used black T-7000 silicone adhesive because that is what I had can be bought on AliExpress for around $7 CAD or use whatever works for you

put a small dab of glue in the socket holes to hold them in place

put a blob of glue on the bottom flat side of the CH340E board to hold it in place so that it doesn't get pushed in when plugging in the usb

run a line of glue around the inside rim of the body to hold the top connector on

if using T-7000 wait about 6 hours for the glue to fully dry

[Software]

compatible with Patchi Lab V1 or other UART hacking software for Paradise
