The Frogronizer - or Frog Organizer.
I am really into frogs. Like, concerningly so. So, I made a frog themed organizer so that while I am obsessing over frogs I am not losing my pencils and erasers in the process. Simple, effective, and kinda cute while also being modern-ish in vibe.
FEATURES:
Slots for up to 14 pencils!
Compatible with pens up to 7.9mm in diameter
2 containers for small trinkets - screws, erasers, that one marble you keep on your desk, snake shed, rings, etcetera
Eyes and a smiley face, because what is the point of a cute frog organizer if it doesn't look happy to be there?
Compatible with both single and multicolor printers! You'll need to slice it yourself though.
Named Caesar. Like the salad. Definitely the salad.
PRINT TIPS:
Import the STEP instead of the STL if you want the eyes to be a different color than the main body. The STL registers the model as one object for some reason, while the STEP registers it as three.
I've found it prints the fastest (at least according to the bambu slicer) if you tilt it so the eyes are on the top and my signature is on the bottom. Also the most filament efficient, as it minimizes supports.
I've never worked with a Prusa printer before so I am not sure how the settings work on those, but I suggest a denser infil so it doesn't slide around too much when you
stab itput pencils in it.Thicker walls will be your friend here - but it maxes out at 4mm so be careful not to go too big without scaling the model to match!
If you want to store thicker pens or markers, scale the model up so the holes are about 0.2cm bigger than the diameter you need. Eventually I will probably make a thick utensils option, but this is my first ever Printables project so bear with me.
I suggest PLA or PETG for filament, depending on how often you think your frogronizer will be outside.
EDIT: Fixed hole in the bottom of the second insert. Oops. Hopefully the new model doesn't do that :)
Thank you for looking at my project! Hopefully it brings as much joy to you as it does to me :)
