Pool Battleship is a 3D-printable game designed to bring the classic Battleship concept into the swimming pool.

Each player controls a water cannon turret mounted on a floating platform. The turret has two independent controls: one for rotating the cannon left and right, and another for adjusting its elevation.

The water cannon is connected to a water supply through a flexible tube (not included), allowing players to aim and fire a water jet at their opponent's target.

A small 3D-printable target boat is also included, which can be used as the target for a more traditional game. On hot summer days, however, you can skip the boat and aim directly at the opposing "commander" =).

The model is designed to be assembled using 3D-printed parts. The required screws can be printed as part of the model. The water tubing is not included and must be sourced separately.

An assembly guide is included with the model.

Printer compatibility & tolerances
This model was designed and thoroughly tested using a Bambu Lab H2D and is intended to be printed on printers with an equivalent build volume. The mechanical parts, including the gears, were designed and tested with specific functional clearances and tolerances.

Simple rescaling may cause mechanical issues, as scaling the model also scales the functional clearances of the gears and other moving parts. While I have not personally tested rescaled versions, this approach can reduce the intended clearances and may cause components to bind or not function correctly.

Compact Version & Model Updates

The compact version is now available. Many users asked for an A1 Mini-compatible version, so I completely redesigned the base to reduce its size while keeping the same internal cannon mechanism.

The main print profile now includes both versions:

  • Plates 1 and 2: original version, compatible with larger printers such as H2D, H2S, etc.

  • Plates 6 and 7: compact version, suitable for smaller printers such as the A1 Mini.

You only need to print one version; there is no need to print both.

I also made a few small improvements to the model: the screw tolerances have been slightly increased for easier assembly, and part C2 has been made slightly longer to improve its grip on the cannon.

The compact version only changes the base; the mechanism and functionality remain the same.
