Here's a multicolor 3d model from the Florida Gators alternate logo from 1995. The source was an SVG file obtained online and converted to a 3mf file on Fusion 360. As compared to a layered colored model, this model has all the colors on the first layer, thus, you'd need an AMS or MMU for multicolor. The model was printed on a Bambulab A1 printer with AMS Lite.
Filaments I used:
esun PLA+ Dark blue
esun PLA+ Pine green
Overture PLA Olive green
esun PLA+ Orange
esun PLA Basic White
Printer settings:
0.4 nozzle
0.2 layer height
Infill 15% gyroid
No supports
On the AMS Lite, colors Dark blue, pine green, olive green and orange were used. The 5th color White was swapped with Orange.
For this model, the printer will make 2 passes for all the colors.
